Plumbago is a vine-like shrub with delicate blue flowers and sprawling branches that can be trained to grow on a wooden trellis for a cascading waterfall effect. It prefers the heat of the sun and comes with evergreen foliage. I grow them in containers but you can dig a hole to plant this beauty and they do take up plenty of room.
Another advantage of this plant is that it is disease-resistant and drought tolerant. So another non-fussy flowering plant with seasonal pruning to encourage prolific blooms.
